Smgs Camogie

Our 1st Yr girls camogie team played extremely well in a hotly contested blitz in Ballincollig Gaa on Wednesday last the 8th October. 
They beat Mount Mercy 4-2 to 0-0 in the first game and went on to beat Clonakilty by a point in the second game. Having then qualified for the semi final, the Blarney girls took on a much fancied Charleville side. With many inspired performances the girls again came out on top by the narrowest of margins.
On what was a tough day in the poor conditions, a strong Bandon Grammer side had the better of the Blarney girls in the final. The future is bright for these Girls.
