SMGS compete in Cross Country

SMGS travelled to Riverstick on Thursday last 5th Dec to compete in the Cork Post Primary Cross -Country Challenge races. Huge numbers competing in terrible conditions.

Competing in the 1st Yr Girls Competition run over 1 KM were Sarah Delaney, Michelle O Shea, Ella Lesniak, Roisin O’Connell and Lucy O’Connell. Where all girls finished in impressive times it was Michelle who finished very strong in 5th place.

The 1st Yr Boys race had a huge no of entrants where Jack O’Rourke and Glenn Kelleher finished well inside the top half of the field.
