TY STEM CHALLENGE

Great to see the progress of those involved in the STEM TY Challenge. This is a program where our students are paired up with mentors from STEM industries around Cork to find out what it’s like to work there. They are in the process of making a video on it. The students involved are: Cliona Kirby, Clodagh O’Connor, Kevin Murphy, Liam O’Keefe, Erin Hickey, Sean Byrne, Harry Byrd, Meabh Barry. They met a representative (Alex Horan) from Thermo Fisher Scientific and had an online meeting with Kate Wall from PepsiCo. Visits to the sites will happen in the next few weeks.
