24hr No Phone Challenge Fundraiser

Our 5th year L.C.V.P. class will be holding a fundraiser for the charity “Enable Ireland” on the 23rd October. For this fundraiser we ask 1st and 4th year students to participate in a “24 hour no phones challenge”. The money raised from this fundraiser can help provide a Tobii Indie tablet – designed for children with speech and language disabilities such as non-verbal autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.

During this we will be taking participants phones for 24 hours and we will be securing the phones in the school safe . Students will be given a sponsorship card when they hand back their permission slips tomorrow Thursday 18th October. It is compulsory for each student to raise a minimum of €10 to cover cost of entry.
