Camogie All Ireland Champions 🎉🏆

SMGS are All Ireland 7 a side Camogie Champions. SMGS travelled to Ashbourne GAA Co. Meath as Munster champions and played the Ulster Champions Newry in the Final. Blarney started really well with scores from Eva Callanan and Laura Shine. It was 2-6 to 1-3 at half time with Blarney in control. The second half started brightly with a great goal from Abbie McNamara. The Blarney girls were challenged hard but strong defending from Orla Cronin and Nessa Crowley kept Newry at bay. The final score was SMGS Blarney 5-8 Newry 2-10. Well done girls and to Ms. Sheehan who travelled with them.
