Maths Week 2018

There were various events organised in school to celebrate Maths Week from 15-19 October. On Monday students were invited to enter the ‘24’ competition, where you have to make 24 from 4 random playing cards quicker than your opponent. On Thursday students were working on Maths Puzzles, and on Friday students were tested to see how many decimal places of Pi they could remember. During the week there was also a Sudoku competition for every year group, and also some TY students volunteered to test students knowledge at break time in ‘Random acts of maths’. Here are some of the prize winners for the week.
