Girls U19 Basketballers enroute to All Irelands!!!

​SMGS vs Eureka, Kells Co Meath

A great day out at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght for our U19 Girls.

Two early scores from Emma Murphy got SMGS off to a great start. There was a fantastic team effort displayed by all the girls with SMGS coming out on top in each quarter right until the end. The 2nd quarter saw the girls get a total of 28 pts, 12 of which came from 3-pointers score by Aoife McSweeney, Simone O’ Shea and Sinead Singleton.

Final score SMGS 63 - 47 Eureka, Kells.

The girls will now progress to the All-Ireland Final which will be held between February 26th and March 2nd in the National Basketball Arena.
