SMGS U17 Rugby

SMGS took part in a Munster rugby U17 blitz today in Mahon. Adding a few younger players and blooding a few new ones for the SNR squad for next year, we took on Youghal, Carrigaline and CBS Midleton. 

Our lads played some brilliant rugby, working extremely well as a team and scoring some great tries. Our work on the ball was of a very high standard as was our work in defending especially around the ruck. Adam O Brien’s try against Carrigaline after receiving a restart was certainly a highlight. 

Wins came against Youghal 21-7, against Carrigaline 36-14 and also against CBS Midleton 24-0.

We have no doubt that the SNR squad will impress next year with this crew involved.
