SMGS Girls Basketball Report

Last week 1st years started out playing against Christ King in a very exciting and tough game. In the 3rd quarter they fought hard to lead the game and had to keep working together to maintain that lead. 10 seconds left and SMGS were up 2 points, but unfortunately Christ King snuck in a 3 pointer resulting in a loss for SMGS by 1 point (31-30) Gutting for the girls but they played so well together!

2nd years were up next who once again put on an amazing performance as a team securing a win with 41-26. The girls really worked as a team even when Christ King were putting them through their paces!

The future is definitely bright for SMGS girls basketball with these two incredible teams! Well done girls 🏀😁
