Minister Norma Foley's visit to Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál

It has been a momentous week for Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál. We had the privilege of welcoming Minister for Education Norma Foley. We were so proud for her to meet our students and see the wonderful work that is been done by the staff and students in the new school campus.

It was International Day in the school on Thursday and Minister Foley got the opportunity to sample some dishes from around the world prepared by our students.

She visited many of the specialist classrooms, dance studio, gym as well as the ASD Hub. Well done to all of our students who gave Minister Foley such a warm welcome. Special thanks to those who performed for the Minister, the SMGS Student Council for their wonderful work on Thursday in preparing and facilitating the Minister's visit.
