SMGS Reading Den Appeal

Dear Parents, students, friends and book-lovers,

The Reading Den in SMGS is now open for lunch time borrowing to all students with library cards ( available in The Reading Den). Our Student Librarians are kept busy at these times stocking shelves, issuing books and tracking requests.

In order to ensure we have an updated, vibrant Young Adult library stock of both fiction and non- fiction books which appeal to young people, we are running a Valentine’s Bake Sale fundraiser for all students on Thursday, 14th February.

Buns, brownies, biscuits and bakes would be hugely appreciated on the day to help our appeal. Please hand in all baked goods to the Home Economics room on Thursday Morning, 14th February.

If you have any books in good condition which you feel would be suitable for the library stock, they will also be most gratefully accepted in The Reading Den at any time.
