SMGS Girls Basketball

U16 SMGS Girls Basketball (pictured) had a great win against Coláiste na Toirbhirte Bandon Thursday in Parochial Hall. After going into the second half down by 6 points, SMGS came back to win 49-41 points. Laura Kelleher was the top U16 scorer with 24 pts and Ciara Riordan followed close with 20 pts.
Our U19 Girls Basketball team also had a great win over Bandon Thursday with a final score of 56-36 points. Sinéad Singleton was the top U19 scorer with 26 points and second was Simone O’ Shea with 18 points.

Both teams have their next matches Wednesday November 8th (away to St Mary’s HS Midleton) and Thursday November 9th (away to Coláiste Pobail Bheanntrai).
