Science week in SMGS

There were many activities organised for SMGS students for Science Week. 1st year students were asked to build a rocket from a 2L plastic bottle and yesterday they launched them by building up pressure inside in the rocket using a pump! Ms Foley, Mr Cremen and Mr Nolan were all on hand timing the rockets and helping with pumping up air. Naomh Áine put in a great effort into their rockets - well done to everyone involved! Finals between all first year class groups are likely to be held next week.
