First Year Football Update

Our First Year Girls Football team played Coláiste Gobnait last Friday. The weather was close just like the match. Tension filled the air. It was a rocky start to the match conceding 3 points in quick succession. Luckily the girls came back scoring multiple points. Kelsey Cooper made an excellent run and a great pass by Megan O Shea guaranteed a goal. Half time score was Blarney 1:8 to Coláiste GobnaIt 4:5.

We started the second half strong with goals banged into the net by Megan O’ Shea. Both teams were neck to neck,but Coláiste Gobnait pulled away in the last 10 minutes.
