SMGS Gaisce Trip 2019

As part of the Gaisce award, students have to plan, and complete an outdoor Adventure Journey as part of a team. This Adventure Journey experience provides a unique, challenging and memorable experience to the students. The Adventure journey for the Bronze Gaisce students involves a trip over 2 days and 1 night and for the Silver Gaisce students it’s over 3 days and 2 nights. The Bronze Gaisce student’s took part in a 25km walk on Friday the 10th of May and the Silver Gaisce students completed this walk and another 25km walk on Saturday the 11th of May in Killarney. The students were very lucky to have such beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and lakes in Killarney. Well done to all the Gaisce students involved.
